I totally get why, expected, and I think they did the right thing, but that doesn’t make it an easier pill to swallow. Like a lot of cyclists, having an event to train for drops the RPE for all of the work put in to get ready for the event. So while I support the decision to postpone Rough Road 100, it still sucks. I will be riding the Rough Road 100 on April 4th, as it is my first gravel “race” I’m not quite sure what to expect. I’ve ridden well over 100km on the road more times than I can count, but I’ve never done this sort of distance on a trail.
