There are a few interesting takeaways from this Rene Herse article on the aerodynamics of gravel bikes/riding. If you just want the TLDR; body position is where it’s at (duh). I did enjoy that they corroborated my assertion that aero gravel wheels aren’t a great idea :). I will be heading back to Tipton, IA for the Snaggy Ridge 105 gravel race in a few weeks. I was unprepared for the experience last year, but in my defense it was my first gravel race, ever.
