I don’t think I would ever use this ABUS smart lock with my road bike, mostly because it probably weighs about the same as the bike. That’s actually a good thing for a city bike though, and this is the target demographic for this beast. While it’s great that there’s another option in that space, the really cool thing about this lock is that it’s kind of like keyless entry for your…

Hiplok Announces D1000 Anti-Angle Grinder Bike Lock
I really like the Hiplok security ties that we reviewed a while back, but they aren’t intended to be a real bike lock. More an inconvenience creating device while you run off for some coffee, or a restroom break. On the other hand, the new Hiplok D1000 is a real bike lock; and they are making some big claims around the security features it has. I don’t have the tools or skills…
Hiplok Jaw & Ankr Mini

Hiplok Z LOK & Z LOK COMBO Security Ties
The Hiplok Z LOK and Z LOK COMBO are an excellent way to raise the security bar when you need to step away from you bicycle. Convenient for you, inconvenient for opportunistic thieves.…
Great idea, but I wonder about the application

This makes it possible to save some time when parking because you don’t need a key to secure the bike with the Bordo. It’s super convenient, but as someone who has, at least once, biked somewhere only…
