I’ve been having some trouble with a Wahoo Tickr that I just bought back in August, so I contacted Wahoo support this morning. I thought I was running latest, but that turned out not to be the case because they released a new firmware (1.14.0) a couple weeks ago that I missed. Updating is easy with the Wahoo Utility application, just put on the sensor (so it stays awake) and connect to it with the app on your phone. It should provide a button to upgrade the firmware. Hopefully this fixes the problem, because I’m useless without HR data…

Just bought a new one too and heart rate wouldn’t react to effort. Went through the update and still no good. They warrantied it and I should be getting the new one tomorrow.
That’s exactly the problem I’m having, except mine works for a bit then stops.
Tried conductive gel and some other tricks – would sit at around 120’s and sit there.
Thanks. I’m going to give it another go later today, but not optimistic.
FW update + Reset seems to have done the trick. Three rides in a row with solid HR numbers.
