Don’t know that I’ve ever really thought about how stiff my hub clamping device is, but I have definitely enjoyed the repeatability that thru-axles provide when it comes to cassette and disc rotor insertion.
The video is interesting, but technical, and so it’s worth noting that if you get nothing else from it. Tighten your thru-axles, it’s important.
