I got stuck the first time I tried to remove my Specialized S-Works Power Cranks, so I thought it would be useful to document how to do it. The process should be exactly the same whether you have a standard S-Works Carbon Crank or the Power Cranks.
Getting old sucks, might as well have a nice bike

The left crank and axle are a single piece. It should slide out of the bike, but sometimes needs a couple taps with a rubber mallet. Any cracks in that assembly should be inspected by your Specialized dealer. Hard to say without seeing it.
Thank you very much for your fast answer !… It confirms my first impression : there is a crack at the junction axis-crank which explains the small clearance between the 2 pieces… My Best !
