Seems like only yesterday that Garmin pushed out a huge step forward in the HRV tracking game for the fēnix 6, but no, it was actually two days ago 🤯. The glaring issue with that update, not that I am complaining in any way, was that they didn’t include the HRV glance/widget. 22.76 fixes that; so now you can see your HRV numbers from the night before. You will need to install the 22.75 ALPHA build of the firmware, to get the new HRV features, but I’ve found those to be plenty stable for daily use. What’s interesting is that it doesn’t appear to have added the HRV glance. So it will be interesting to see how this all plays out as the firmware update develops. One of the best bike lighting decisions I’ve ever made was to take a chance on the Outbound Lighting Evo/Hangover MTB combo. It is AWESOME!!! I was able to apply the update, but just like the last time there was weirdness where the Connect mobile app didn’t recognize that the update applied and kept wanting to offer it. Well, part of how it just works, won’t anymore because they decided to cut Hammerhead out of their Di2 licensing. Why?
