A friend of mine had the chance to marshal the wheelchair mid field for the BOA 13.1 last weekend. I didn’t attend, but he was kind enough to  slap a GoPro on his bike and record most of the event. It was a learning experience for me, mostly because I haven’t spent any real amount of time contemplating half marathons :). The most surprising thing was how fast the wheelchair field is; remember how I mentioned he was on a bike? What I didn’t mention that he wasn’t on a slow bike… Apparently speeds around 20mph are not uncommon (wow).
